St. Patrick's Day (March 17) is the celebration of all things Irish. But who was St. Patrick?
The answer is that he was a Christian who brought the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Ireland. He has been called a church planter, a missionary, the Apostle to the Irish, and the Patron Saint of Ireland. He is said to have driven the snakes from Ireland despite the fact that Ireland never had snakes.
But did you know that he was Scottish! (Well, maybe from South Wales?)
Did you also know that he used the three leaf shamrock to illustrate how the Father Son and Holy Spirit could all be one God in three persons? (And you thought the four leaf ones were lucky. Now you know the truth!?)
